Allergen Free Dining Options

SMCC Dining understands that in order to maximize students dining experience, there must be a variety of options for all students, regardless of any dietary restrictions they may have.  SMCC encourages students to reach out to SMCC dining staff with any dietary allergies or intolerance's they have that require accommodations.  SMCC Dining works closely with Disability Services in developing reasonable accommodations for students with additional dietary restrictions.  If there is another circumstance where dietary accommodations may be needed, please contact Lauren Withers. 


My Zone

My Zone is a "pantry" where food items that are needed by customers with celiac disease or food allergies involving gluten, peanuts and tree nuts can be housed free cross-contamination. This special area gives students the ability to be involved in their own allergen safe meal preparation. Examples of products available in My Zone include gluten-free bread, muffins, wraps, and desserts, gluten, peanut and tree-nut free pre-made entrees, lactose free milk and other milk alternatives, individual packets of butter, cream cheese and jelly. Students are encouraged to reach out to a dining staff member if they have special food item requests.
